Organizational Overview
OVERVIEW: K&J Woodworks is a progressive custom millwork manufacturer. Our Kyle, TX facility is made up of several department teams, all of whom work to together to ensure the fabrication of a quality, original millwork product with the goal to consistently lead and outperform the industry standard in a highly competitive marketplace. We strongly encourage growth from inside our company. All of our management staff has worked on the production floor at one time or another.

ENGINEERING: K&J's in-house engineering department features state-of-the-art technology. We utilize AutoDesk and Microvellum software to produce drawings and data that streamline the engineering process. Our project managers are trained to facilitate both large and small projects. Because experience has shown us that typically there are additions and changes to a project (that often happen) just before the store opening, our managers are positioned to consistently meet last minute changes and new deadlines.
PRODUCTION: K&J's production crew is experienced and well trained. Our crew size varies depending on our volume of projects in our shop.
INSTALLATION: K&J's installation crew has installed millwork throughout the United States. We maintain a crew of installers at all times and we have relationships with sub-contractors we can call upon if needed. K&J knows that the installer is our last opportunity for the quality control of the product. We therefore emphasize the importance of a quality installation. The installer is also called upon to retrofit and reinvent in the field because at K&J we want you completely satisfied. We are continually training our installers, so that different clients needs are met before and after the project is complete.
OUTSOURCING: K&J works to have as much of our production done in house as possible; however we sometimes have to call on vendors to help us. We have worked very hard to build relationships with companies we can count on. A back up for every supplier is another crucial link we've added to insure that a vendor who can't get the work done won't hold up a project. Having multiple vendors also helps to insure we can pass on the best price to you.
